Tata Starbucks Private Limited today announced its entry into Lucknow with two new store openings, bringing the premium Starbucks Experience to more customers across India.The two new stores are located at Phoenix Palassio Mall and Vibhuti Khand in Gomti Nagar.India is one of Starbucks fastest growing markets globally and with this expansion, Tata Starbucks now has a presence across 12 cities with 189 stores.

The new stores are designed with Lucknow’s rich and authentic culture in mind, reflecting the diverse heritage of the city alongside a deep passion for coffee. Honouring the traditions and craftsmanship of Lucknow –Chikankari, an ancient form of embroidery – is used in Phoenix Palassio store designs and feature artwork. The colourful art isinspired by the harvesting methods of Indian farmers and depicts various growing stages of a coffee plant,from flowering to ripening of the coffee cherries.

The design ofthe Gomti Nagar store is also inspired by the landscapes of India’s coffee growing regions. Fromthe entry to the interiors of the store, undulating wood fins echo the mountainous forms of a coffee farm. The whimsical shapes and artworks that feature on the wall inside the store are created through a fusion of Chikankari and Zardosi; a dense sewing technique in Lucknow which incorporates ornate gold embellishments. For a more modern approach, colourful beads are used to work in harmony with the overall aesthetics of the store.

Starbucks` launch campaign also takes inspiration from the cultural ethos of Lucknow with the tag line `Muskuraanekiwajahein; Lucknow, Starbucks aurAap`; thus celebrating the many reasons to rejoice whilst keeping the focus on the customer!

The all-new Starbucks in Lucknow offers customers a wide range of menu items including the Starbucks®️ signature espresso beverages like Cappuccinos, Americanos, Lattes and all-time favourites such as Cafe Mocha, Java Chip Frappuccino, Signature Hot Chocolate and Caramel Macchiato.
